Don't use PHP 5.5. Oh, and don't make multiple posts on the same subject. We heard you the first, second and third time.

I'm stuck in PHP 5.5.7 and can't use 2.0.6 ; solve my problem and answer my crestion instead of complaining at a costumer.

Please note that it is 2.1 Alfa! It's in heavily development so you can't, really, use it to production.

Have a chat with them, your best bet (as I've told you already) is to downgrade to PHP 5.4 (or regularly clean you error log)
There was a topic here somewhere about how to supress that error but I can't find it now :(

I also have PHP 5.5 in my test machine so I will try to, at least, find out how to suppress that.

Your rude comment style is also very inappropriate. Please refrain from doing that. We are all volunteers here!

What's to answer that hasn't already been answered (already in your topics)

2.0.6 does not support PHP 5.5 properly. There is a patch under review to make sure it doesn't open security holes - given what the /e stuff deals with, we have to be absolutely sure it's safe. That's why we've been testing it for three MONTHS to be sure.

2.1 is not ready for use. It is pre-beta, it has many bugs, many unfinished things, it should not be used in a production environment unless you know how to diagnose and fix bugs yourself.

So your choices are: 1) Don't use PHP 5.5, 2) turn off all the errors or 3) don't use SMF (since 1.1 and 2.0 are both affected and 2.1 isn't suitable for you)

I should also note that we spend my free time working on SMF, and to get such attitude from people who use our hard work is actually very insulting.

hadesflames

OP should use SMF 1.0 imo.

Arantor

Honestly I'm not even sure 1.0 would work properly any more ;)

Especially when the question has been answered, in detail, in multiple threads. @dan4ever: You cannot continue to berate staff here if you do not read and consider the information that people have taken the time to give you.

Thanks Sir Cumber-Patcher for a answer.

I'v tried to supress that error from the topic, but it don't work.

My webb-hotel can fix a dedicated server with 5.4 but that cost will be to much for me.

I should also note that I spend my free time working on my forum to please 780 member every day.
and there is always something not working....

So you understand what it means to spend your free time doing something. I really hope your users don't insult you the way you insult us. There is a part of me that does, though, then you might understand how it feels to spend so many hours on things only to receive abuse for it. So what if you're just a user? That doesn't give you the right to be nasty to people spending their free time to do something for you instead of enjoying it doing something they'd rather be doing.

If you follow the thread linked *fully* you will find several suggestions as to clearing the logs for it, which are needed for different server configurations, in your case I think scripple's suggestion is the one to go for.

dan4ever

I'v spent 7 hours to get an answer, and thanks Sir Cumber-Patcher you gave me the anwser.
I have been send everywere for the answer, and I'm tired now... Sorry

Have I been told the right answer direct it wouldn't be so much bad comments.

That host sounds like a scam. I suggest you head on over to a new one. I don't remember if I'm allowed to link to a host in here or not, but all the same, I recommend you check out Frank's hosting.

Arantor

We DID tell you the best answer direct, within minutes of your original post - downgrading to PHP 5.4 is the best answer for you right now. You still have a problem, you're just pretending it's not a problem by hiding the error messages.

Though if you did a search for your error message you would have found the topic in question.

And when we're satisfied we won't make your forum insecure, we'll release our patch that DOES fix the problem permanently.

dan4ever

And I told you I cant downgrad!!!

But if you tell me 1000 times more.....

I'm stuck...get'it???

And I did search and I get 1 answered on you community.
1 hour later I get 20.....  Some problem with smf search as I have in my forum.

Any decent host should allow you to upgrade and downgrade as needed, if yours does not I would think about changing hosts as hadesflames already suggested.
Check out this great sites.

They sad they had a cluster and all get uppgrade at the same time. No way to downgrade if I did't payed 4 times more.
