Orstio's bridge + Community Builder (CB) = no problem ?

As others have mentioned, this thread certainly causes me to go look at the alternatives.  I have to make a decision within 48 hours and was simply doing a little more checking into some features when I came across this thread.  I am leading a small team that will be developing a website for the English speaking population of a country, Panama, as well as a site for the specific area I live in, which is designated aUNESCO World Heritage community.  Community Builder is what both these will be based around though a robust forum is VITAL to the country-wide site.  As someone has already stated, I would prefer to pay than find out later I had made a bad choice in terms of compatibility with the foundation of my sites. 

After months of research, I had committed to Mambo and then just as we started, the split.  I've made a decision and do not intend to turn back.  And CB seems absolutely essential to Joomla users for any number of rich features that I can't even imagine any forum package coming close to reproducing let alone becoming nearly as aesthetically interesting, which, in spite of genius functionality, still matters to the end user.
