Since I use bootstrap on my forum (responsive) I have to disagree with your statement, I find it very easy to customize even if it's bloated or ugly.

I couldn't stand using Bootstrap myself. Have taken a couple of looks at it, and would avoid it like the plague. Then again, I'm a code junkie and you're not, so we have different preferences.
