Duplicate members

Recently an operator deleted some members. In order to be helpful to them new membership details where created, subsequently the members affected used their new profile. These are given a suffix to show that the profile is duplicated

After a delay the original profiles, posts and PMs were recovered using the original member profile name.

This has led to a duplication, is it possible to merge the new profile data (posts, PMs, etc.) back into the original profile so allowing the duplicated membership to be deleted?

I assume that you are ACTUALLY running 2.0.x, not 2.1
