Hello, I've been trying to fix my emails now for a few hours.. i've had varying errors from Ran into problems sending Mail. Error: 535 Authentication Failed which is caused by adding ssl:// in front of the SMTP Server and now Couldn't get mail server response codes which i can't possibly figure out why it's happening.

These are my current mail settings:

Mail Type: SMTP
SMTP Server: smtp.zoho.com
SMTP Port: 465
SMTP Username: [email protected] (obviously the actual details filled)
SMTP Password: **************

Could someone please tell me what i'm doing wrong? I'm using Zoho as a host.

You need to enable POP/ IMAP and Email Forwarding in your zoho account settings, did you do that?

It should def be ssl://smtp.zoho.com and port 465

I believe so:

IMAP
Incoming Server Name : imappro.zoho.eu
Port : 993
Require SSL : Yes
Username : [email protected]

POP
Incoming Server Name : poppro.zoho.eu
Port : 995
Require SSL : Yes
Username : [email protected]

Outgoing / SMTP
Outgoing Server Name: smtp.zoho.eu
Port : 465 with SSL or 587 with TLS
Require Authentication: Yes

Thats given to the user by default, i'm using the bottom settings obviously.

EDIT: Seems to be working now, but get sent to spam, any ideas?

this is due to how the email is sent and how its recognised by the receiving system, nothing you can do at this time but advise members to mark it as not spam.

Actually there is something you can do, check it on a service such as http://www.isnotspam.com/ and see why it marks it as spam, then you can edit it and try to improve it.

It's so powerful that on this post and even in the two PMs you sent me,you still answered my question very quickly and you're apologizing for the delay. You're the #1 support I've probably ever encountered man, so much respect for that. Thank you, and get better soon.

I'll keep this in my siggy for a while just to remind me that someone appreciated what I did while others didn't.
