Is there a start new topic page that exists which allows you to select which board you're posting to?

no. the only start new topic page picks up the board because it is only present when you are already ON a board or topic level page.

mind you, you could do it, but you'd have to code it... and I am unsure of why one would need such a thing.

I just wanted a quick way for people to start a new topic without have to click into the board. I was hoping there'd be one with a similar thing in the move topic page.

You could work around this mod: https://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=1189

When you click "new topic", you can then select the board you want via a select menu.

In addition, if you follow this link: https://biology-forums.com/index.php?action=forum You'll notice a "Start New Topic" link in the bottom left corner. Clicking it will show you a modal. Something like that can also be implemented.
