I've been looking through all the old posts I can find, and allof them seem to be for much earlier versions.

I need my Global Moderators to have ban control, but cannot find how to edit the permissions for them.

Inherit Permissions:
Select "No" to enable group to have own permission set.

But selecting no, which seems to be the default, does not give access to any other permissions?

In fact, I can find no permissions list for moderators at all.

Can someone tell how to find these and how to allow mods to ban?

Edit: How do I find the   by type: Moderator settings?

are you talking about a local board moderator or a moderator of the whole forum?

you should see that permission when you edit permissions for global moderator.

you are editing the group, not permissions. you need to go to permissions first.

Where do I find them?

I have board permissions and general permissions. Period. Nothing else.

I'm seriously frustrated here. Its like a whole section of admin is missing.
