New Install - Just Text

Not sure what I'm doing wrong, I've installed SMF before and never had any problems.
Server running PHP 7.0 (fast CGI)

I'm sure it's a problem between the keyboard and the computer, but I can't sort it out

All permissions are set correctly.
Install goes through without any errors.

This may be of help to you: repair settings. Understanding where it goes and what it does: What is repair_settings.php?

basically, your server did things in the wrong order and the system missed it.

using the tool mentioned, reset your forum URL.

Some of the paths had been set with IP addresses instead of the URL address.

At least now I don't feel quite so dumb ...
