Pretty urls. :P

FF removes the semicolon, IE does not.  Links don't work either way.

Which file and what to edit in that? Will it effect on other urls if modified?

Sir Osis of Liver

Pretty urls has trashed several forums I've worked on (just cleaned one up this week), it can be very difficult to remove completely.  You can try uninstalling it with package manager, then you'll have to manually remove the mod code from .htaccess.  You may still find bad links after doing that.  It's a lot like cancer, you can get rid of some of it, but never all of it.

if im going to remove pretty url mod, it will damage all the forum url structure and can cause 404 page from search engines.

Sir Osis of Liver

If you remove it completely, forum should work fine.  Search engines will just have to reindex it.  There's a reverter available for the mod, but I don't recommend it.  You need to clean it out.

foroum is still working fine without any issue. but the problem is with webmaster tools?

is it possible to remove noindex tag from index.template.php?

Sir Osis of Liver

I don't use or work with any google products.  Quick search shows there have been noindex errors with webmaster tools.  That's not a forum problem, it's a google problem.

you are right, but the url shows semi colon in structure. when removing semi colon the urls opens the related page.

Yes, that's because semicolon is being added to the url incorrectly.  Core code can't do that, the only mod you're running that changes urls is pretty urls.

any alternate to modify code in the mod, not by removing the mod
