Hello, I was on SMF 2.0.17 and when I ckecked versions I saw that I had old versions of Default Templates and Language Files.
In the meanwhile I decided to upgrade to 2.1 RC2 and I have the same situation.

What do I have to do fix it?

Updating language files is a bit strange in SMF: Search for each of your languages in the admin interface as if you hadn't installed them already, then "install" them again. This will show you if there are files that need updating.

If the term refers to the mail (etc.) templates (which I don't know), that should be fixed by updating the language files as well.

Exploding "Language Files" item I get the following list: (see attached image).

What should I do to fix old files?

Instead, exploding "Default templates" item I get this:

Get both of those. Extract the files from the zip. Upload them to your Themes/default/languages folder, overwriting the old files.

Personally I wouldn't worry about Compat.template.php and Wireless.template.php as they are never used these days anyway. That's why they haven't been updated in 2.1 RC2. They should probably be dropped before Final, but that's up to the devs.
