captcha is very difficult to read

Often there is one character that is very difficult. 
Can I install a different captcha that is easier to read, and if so, where do I find it?

Captcha is pretty much useless, bots eat it for breakfast.  Try this mod -

Odd.  A man cannot read it and a machine can.  I shall investigate and probably enable your recommendation. Thank you.
