I've caused a 500 page error on my forums, I moved the directly from community to the root folder. I them used the repair-settings.php to fix the locations.

My install loaded but I couldn't access the admin panel.

I checked the rapir-setttings.php again, thought it might make sense to disable the plugins I have installed as I use the PrettyURLs mod but doing that has wiped the site with the 500 page error.

Can you check your server erro rlog and see if any messages are logged in there?

Nothing shown inside the error log, not even via my cpanel logs.

I used the large upgrade zip to fix it, I'm not sure what exactly happened but I can login etc. This said, when I did get into the acp there was thousands of recorded errors but I'm using my mobile phone (as I'm out). Hopefully, they'll shed light on the issue.

if you were using prettyurls and moved the site you should post in their support topic as the issue may be related to that mod.

Kindred

There is no maybe... moving the forum directories will affect prettyurls.

Thanks to VBgamer, a lot of issues I have experienced have been resolved, although I am still seeing many errors being logged.

I think when I moved from Invision to SMF 2.0.19, then upgraded to 2.1.3 it seemed to be fine.

I'm not sure what is happening, but I think the migration may have caused issues because I have a clean install that I test on, and I don't encounter nearly as many errors.

I am unsure what to do or even why these errors happen, it could be something I have done or tried, but I do think something is a mist with the migration.
