Which template file holds these bits on the main page?

I'm looking for the template that contains the:  "please welcome, Bob, our newest member.  0 posts in 0 topics by 3 members, view the most recent posts on the forums" as well as the footer area's:   "new posts, no new posts, redirect board".


I started in index-template, but it looks like if they're there it's via a function?

Both are located in the BoardIndex.template.php.
The text you said could be one that is enabled in the admin config, but perhaps you are referring to the info center? Need to be more specific.

In board index look for "$txt['welcome_member']" and "posting_icons".
