Is there a mod available that enables us to implement a user paid option? For instance, if I want to restrict regular users to posting only 10 times per day and creating just one topic per day. However, if a user becomes a paid member, they would have unlimited posting privileges and could create as many threads as they wish. Additionally, paid users would receive extra features, such as a user badge with stars or similar perks.

You can use paid subscriptions and then tweak your permissions accordingly.

One of the forums I manage uses paid subscriptions and I wrote a mod to enable membergroup-based signature permissions for images, smileys and links membergroups - see Membergroup-based Signature Permissions.

It also provides the option to enable increased privileges (ie, twice as many lines in signature and 50% larger font size) to the default values specified.

Doesn't do everything you want but it might be something you're interested in.

There is no mod which restricts the number of posts per day... that is literally contrary to the very nature of a forum

I'm a bit confused about which paid subscriptions you're referring to. Could you please clarify or guide me in the right direction?

This mod is excellent, and I'm considering implementing it on my forum soon. Thank you for the shoutout, and please feel free to reach out if you're interested in taking on paid mod-related projects. I'd be interested in discussing potential collaboration.

Although forums are usually created to promote open discussions and member contributions without strict rules, there are valid reasons for using a mod that limits the number of daily posts. Here are some reasons to think about, preventing spam, maintaining content quality, efficiently managing resources, building a sense of community, and providing tailored experiences. In summary, while forums are meant for open discussions, setting post limits can be a smart way to uphold quality, prevent spam, and manage resources efficiently.

I disagree...
Spammers should be stopped at registration,  not at posting.

The rest is, imo again, counter to forums. If you want curated content,  then  your talking a blog, not a forum.

However,  my main point is, what you are asking for does not currently exist.  You'd have to pay someone to build it for you

Yes, I'll need to hire someone to create that mod, but currently, I'm having trouble finding the right person for the job. I'll continue searching for the right candidate.

@AristocraticAura - just so you know, @Kindred isn't the only one that disagrees. Everything you listed (except for the spam which he told you how to control) is counter to the very existence of a forum. If I joined a forum and found out my posts were limited no matter what level I was at, I'd leave.

Alright, it seems my plan wasn't as well thought out as I thought. I might need to reconsider my strategy and shift my focus towards spam instead of restricting posts.

It appears that SMF forum does not have built-in support for BTC, a cryptocurrency. Consequently, I may need to explore a mod that enables BTC acceptance as a payment method.

Sesquipedalian

Yes, you will need a mod for that. SMF's paid subscriptions feature is designed to connect to third-party payment gateways, such as PayPal. So to add support for a cryptocurrency in SMF, you will need a mod that can interface with the API of some payment gateway that supports the cryptocurrency you want to use.
I promise you nothing.

Could you handle this? I'm considering using a single primary address from blockchain.com [nofollow]. After initiating the verification process, once it's successfully completed, the user's account will be automatically upgraded.

Sesquipedalian

I would be able to do it, certainly. Send me a PM and we can discuss the matter further.
