Forum SMF 2.1.3 has a strange bug in displaying messages - Smileys in a quote are displayed as HTML.



If someone quotes a post that has an emoticon in it, then an emoticon is displayed in the form

The user clicks on the QUOTE button, and in the message form, part of the message in the QUOTE tag inside contains HTML code.

It should just be a smiley without the img tag

And what is your site's actual url?

You have Two bbc mods... try uninstalling those

Any reason not to upgrade to 2.1.4? I'd do that and see if the problem still exists.

Did this just start? What was the last thing you did to the forum?

But like Kindred mentioned, it's difficult to diagnose without your actual url.
