Afternoon everyone.

Is there a way an Admin can place a restriction on a poster to stop them from posting for, say, 48 hours and it automatically resets after that time period?

Thank you.

Not by default. This will require a custom mod.

Yup, use the warning system in concert with post moderation, issue a warning with enough points to get them into the moderation/cannot post state, then set the amount of "points per day to decrease" to half the points in the warning for a 48 hour timeout.

Hi again. I would just like to check if I have this correct.

Will these settings give a 48 hour posting ban? If not, what do I need to change?

Thank you.

Illori

it all depends on what warning level you issue to the user. you say 60 for a mute that will prevent them from posting, so 60+ and 30 will decrease per day.

From 100, each step is 24h:

100 - 30 = 70, still over 60 so muted
70 - 30 = 40, still over 25 so moderated
40 - 30 = 10, still over 10 so watched, but no effect on the user.
