I have designed a help system for my site and have thought about creating a mod out of it but I wont be able to even think about it for at least a year so have decided to offer the files to anybody able to complete it as a mod in less time.

I'm currently on sick after an operation but even with the extra 2–6 weeks I get to spend more than the normal 1–2 hours a night, I still won't get my site working for a year, one main reason is the amount of data the help mod needs as it's a per page help system and the last section will take 3 months by itself hence Why I left it till last lol

I don't care about credit I think it's something that would be useful esp if it handles mods which mine does but it's setup for my site so will need tweeking.

I'm not much of a coder so I'm sure most others here will be able to turn it into a nice mod.

I mean, that's nice... but the whole reason that we dropped the internal help and pointed it to our online manual was to have a central repository that we could update once,  directly and not have to publish patches for manual updates.

I suppose your system would be good for admins on an internal network... or ones that don't want their users coming here for help.

It is indeed a lot of work to do, and good on ya for trading the time to do it.

Please do not PM, IM or Email me with support questions.  You will get better and faster responses in the support boards.  Thank you.

I understand that, my system was designed for my music sections and mods, as I have over the years found members struggle to understand mods they interact with which never have any help.

I have started copying the help from here which has been credited back to SMF and updating for mods I have installed where the mod interaxcts with the user.

If nobody want it thats fin as said I designed it for my systems as it's needed otherwise I'll end up with a complete mess on my hands.

Just thought I would show some of what I've been doing with this mod just in case anybody want to take it on.

Just added an anchor to every section "post", these are at points
