Is it possible to have an image someone has uploaded open in a new window when clicked on (view full size) ?

This mod had that option in version 2.0 :

Yes, it's possible. However it will require custom coding as it can't be done with the out of the box features a.f.a.i.k.

Anyways, you can either ask at that mod's support topic if its author can upgrade it for Smf 2.1.1, or put a request at the Mod Requests or Help wanted not for support boards and hopefully someone will code it for you.

In other words, this is not a support issue. The system is acting as designed. The request would have to be made in the help wanted or mod request boards - not support.
