Forum does not send out e-mail before the subscription expires

I set up a forum where i want users to have access while they pay a yearly amount and i want to send a reminder before a month when it ends, i set up an account to try it out, the account recieve every e-mail besides the subscription reminder on alert settings e-mail is ticked, also PHPmail is enabled and works with every other mail
Can someone help me out?
