Hi, looking for some help please. We do manual approvals for pending members, we usually check pendings by looking up their IP address, but suddenly the IP addresses are not showing in the pending members list
Anyone else having this problem?

Kindred

No... it works just fine for me on my test site and 4 other SMF sites

that is because you run SMF 2.1 and the OP is running SMF 2.0 that does not work correctly with ipv6.

I've actualy run several 2.0.x sites as well and they worked...   but you are right,  if it was iinvolved, then the field would be blank

I'm still having this problem, can anyone help please?

When in Emor, do as the Snamors.

Thanks for your suggestion, but we don't really want to do that because some of our mods don't work with the latest version. I just want to know why IP addresses have suddenly stopped showing up with members who are currently awaiting approval

The other option would be either a custom or manual coding.

which means most likely hiring someone as we are not providing the code.

SMF 2.1 Upgrades are not compatible with this and will cause all the IPv6s to be loss during the upgrade.

I tried installing this mod, passed all tests sucessfully so I clicked on install, but then got this:

Too few arguments to function smf_db_change_column(), 2 passed in /home/kimsd0/public_html/simpearls.co.uk/simpearls/Packages/temp/jdarwood007-smfmod_ipv6-d375c37/database_install.php on line 49 and at least 3 expected

So it did not install, so I'm back to square one

Why are you so stubborn about 2.1? People ask for help in the 2.0 section, and you answer everything with install 2.1.
People don't want version 2.1 if so many don't want to use it.
You even changed the 2.0 install script to beg for installing 2.1...

To be at least somewhat helpful I updated the installer and uninstaller. I haven't noticed any bugs, they work fine. Create a backup and do thorough testing before permanent deployment. I don't have enough time to do this.
