After 2.1.6 my site is gone

I think utf8_regex_quick_check() should be in Sources/Unicode/QuickCheck.php and as far as I can see, 2.1.5 and 2.1.6 did nothing to utf8_regex_quick_check() - Does QuickCheck.php exist in your install? Is it intact?

My QuickCheck.php is blank file , I replace with QuickCheck.php file from my other (working site SMF 2.1.6 version) and now is was shown

And found out a lot of file in my Unicode folder were blank file, I replace those files and finally I got my site running again.

I believe you need to do 2 things:

1)  Comment out the 2 lines of code noted in the first post on this thread:

2)  Copy the contents of the /Sources/Unicode folder from the upgrade package (or any other valid current source) over to /Sources/Unicode

And to test it all...  Run Weekly Maintenance.

If you're still up in 5 minutes, you're good, everything works.

I did it again now running again.

Somehow those files were only a few KB such as 2 KB etc. Now going back to 40-200 KB etc.

talk to your host --   it seems that something on their side may be deleting critical files
