Want a sig like mine for your BTCGuild stats ? Then check this out: Spend-ur-Bits

If you already have itemstats 1.25.3 installed this shouldn't be a problem cause
I only replace files in <yourboardir>/Sources/itemstats and don't change files
of the theme. So if you didn't change files in <yourboardir>/Sources/itemstats it
shouldn't be a problem and you don't have to redo the changes on your custom theme.

CrystalTears

Installed it yesterday and I haven't seen any errors yet. Thanks. :)

I removed my SMF install completely and installed a fresh copy hoping this would fix the problem.  I'm still getting this error when attempting to install it from the packages menu:

Fatal error: packageinstall() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/aasukisu/public_html/Packages/temp/./add_settings.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/aasukisu/public_html/Sources/Packages.php on line 552

You mentioned earlier that it's possible my server doesn't like the '.' that is between the temp/./add_settings.php.  What file would I find this in to edit it out?

sea

i tried to install and get:

The package you are trying to download or install is either corrupt or not compatible with this version of SMF.

Well, I added a /temp folder to the packages folder, and it seemed to work this issue out.  Now i'm having an issue with all mods that I try to install.  They all act like they install without any errors, but nothing actually installs.  Files copy to the temp directory, but never actually make it into the forums.  I'll keep looking :/

Have you upgraded to 1.1.2 recently?
Never argue with an idiot, they will simply bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience

DarkCloud14

sea if you try to install smf itemstats 1.25.4 on smf 1.1.2 it won't work,
try the new smf itemstats v1.25.5 it's compatible with smf 1.1.2 else
you may try to download the package to your computer first and then upload it agian.

Maybe that works..

Any plans to get this to use wowhead.com [nofollow] instead of allakhazam (very slow, often doesn't work)?

^DooM^

I too would like to see it use or at least have the option to use either wowhead or alla. wowhead is 10 times faster and also uses item numbers IE, http://www.wowhead.com/?item=28794

Got my vote 8)

As I'm working on a complete new version I think I could add support for it.
But it will take a while for this version to come out cause I rewrite almost everything of smf itemstats...

I have this problem...

La table 'website.smf_wowitem_cache' n'existe pas
File: f:\web\easyphp1-8\www\website.net\forum\Sources\itemstats\includes\itemcache.php
Line: 45

Note: It appears that your database may require an upgrade. Your forum's files are currently at version SMF 1.1.2, while your database is at version 1.1.1. The above error might possibly go away if you execute the latest version of upgrade.php.

Can't do anything... all my pages display this message !

I have SMF 1.1.2 and just installed this addon... 1.25.5...

If you don't know how to help me, then please just tell me how to erase all these files...

@danny94: Sorry that it doesn't work properly for you and you get this error now but
without taking a closer look at it I'm not sure why this happens. Normally the
table should be created if it doesn't exist but somehow this didn't happen in your case.

If you can still access the admin menu try to uninstall it with the package manager.
Else you've to do a manual uninstall. The easiest could be just to upload the original files to your server
again in case you haven't installed other mods.

Let's assume you haven't installed or modified the forum files yet you must upload the following files again
(Themes shouldn't be a problem):
<smfroot>/index.php
<smfroot>/SSI.php
<smfroot>/Sources/Admin.php
<smfroot>/Sources/ManagePosts.php
<smfroot>/Sources/Subs.php
<smfroot>/Themes/default/Admin.template.php
<smfroot>/Themes/default/languages/Admin.english.php
<smfroot>/Themes/default/languages/Help.english.php

if you also have german language installed you've to replace the following files too:
<smfroot>/Themes/default/languages/Admin.german.php
<smfroot>/Themes/default/languages/Help.german.php
and maybe the UTF8 versions:
<smfroot>/Themes/default/languages/Admin.german-utf8.php
<smfroot>/Themes/default/languages/Help.german-utf8.php

If you can't replace the above files with the original ones please pm me
or post here again and I try to post a guide how to manually remove the
changes package manager did.

Ok now remove the rest of itemstats:
<smfroot>/Sources/UpdateWoWItem.php
<smfroot>/Sources/itemstats (complete directory..)
and
<smfroot>/Themes/default/itemstats (complete directory..)

If it worked for you and you want to get itemstats working on your forum I could help you.
Therefor I need an account with which I can check the error log of your forum and maybe
that's everything for now but maybe I'll have to pm you again and ask for a bit more access..

danny94

Thanks a lot, the removing manipulation works fine manually (I hasn't access to any pages of the forum).

Maybe the problem was here because I'm working on EasyPHP... I'll try on a real server and let you know of any issues and grant you access If needed.

Thanks again for the support, keep it going !

CyberOto

Hi,

Just to point out that you will need to manually create one folder images in your forum root dir. That folder will need to contain 3 missing files:

yellowsocket.png
bluesocket.png
redsocket.png

I have attached the missing files to the post.

Cheers.

CyberOto

@DarkCloud14

If you mouse over a new TBC item(s) that have sockets, you will find that they have only text - "yellow socket", "blue socket" and "red socket", but no images for them. Then if you check your site 404, in let say Awstats, you will notice the high amount of 404 errors connected to the above .png images.

The HTML code that is generated for the tooltips, expects that the 3 socket images are loaded from:

/images/yellowsocket.png
/images/bluesocket.png
/images/redsocket.png

Cheers

DarkCloud14

Oh ok that's the problem xD Sorry never tried an item with sockets
so I'll fix it in the next minor upgrade. Thanks CyberOto
