Email system at the time of new registration not working

Hi

I am using latest version of SMF , it was working fine untill i installed the joomla-smf bridge and all of a sudden emails are not being recieved by admin , i did'nt change any email settings .
While new members are still getting the mails.

In your SMF error log, are there any messages like "Undefined offset '0'" ?

No , there was no such error , however i think while converting from phpbb to SMF , some settings in the admin area were changed . i had to check the options
"Notify administrators when a new member joins" and
"Method of registration employed for new members=Member Approval"
to get things going smoothly. Now email is working .
