Notify MODERATOR when a new member joins - Possble?

Hi

I am administering a forum for the very non-technical owner and so I have given him limited moderator access, but I can't give him admin rights as he will not know what he is doing.

The owner also sends out a newsletter, but not via SMF. I would like to somehow enable the owner of this forum to receive an email with each new member's details (name and email address) as hey sign up. This will enable him to add these email addresses to the newsletter mailing list without risk of duplication.

Is there any way to do this? I was wondering whether it would be possible to somehow attach a mailform type of function the the registration page so that they are CCd?
