Oh I got it. We have to create different new ads for each banner and then choose them to display in the same area. I thought it was like creating one ad and then in the content separate the banners with commas or something.

Thanks.

It's ( The ad mod) not working correctly at my forum.

At some options i see a ad, but at the most , there's nothing to see.

I did change the "view" settings at permissions.

Any help?

Bigguy

If you are using a custom theme then it will have to be manually edited to show the ad mod.

Guys, google ads no longer work! alll the other ads are doing just fine.
And I just can't find the reason why they won't show up anymore!

Kenny01

Why not try placing it directly on your index.php.template

lonrot

Because I want to display it in different places like before.

Kenny01

I'm having my ads on the following places, Index, post, and PM i do these by placing it directly on each file php click to have a look

it's much easier this way.

Bigguy

Why would you think that coding the ads directly into the templates is easier than installing the mod and placing the ad code in a text box. ??? (just thought I would ask :))

Kenny01

Because the Ad Management mod can't place it in those places.

I am getting a massive amount (over 800 pages) of error logs that have to do with the ad mod.

The error message says:
8: Undefined variable: category
File: /home/dumbscre/public_html/Themes/SMF1/BoardIndex.template.php
Line: 180

From my board index template, line 180 is in red:
</div>';
//Display ads Between cats
        if (function_exists("show_category"))
        {
                $ads = show_category($category['id']);
                if(!empty($ads))
                        if($ads['type']==0)
                                echo $ads['content'];
                        else
                                eval($ads['content']);
                unset($ads);
        }

        }

It looks fine according to the package parser.  Has anyone else incurred this problem or do you have any suggestions how I can stop this error from happening.

Thanks  :D

anybody know what could be causing this?

Thanks
