Are you using the default theme?

Yes cheers

On the default theme (in 2.0) it causes some issues with the layout of the 'welcome user' area. If it does this for you too, it is possible to remove the coding to place ad's in this area and fix the issue. Or you can post up your relevant files and I can remove that part for you when I get the chance.

is it not best i wait until the ad mod is sorted before i install.

Cheers

Trying to move the indexAds to a new location, but keep breaking the thing! Anyone available for some support? Paid even?
<*)))><

TheListener

What do you mean by new location?

CarlWohlforth

Looks like it has good potential. Does it work on all themes?

I tried it on SMF 1.1.10 with Extreme10 theme and only 1 or 2 positions worked.

Do the permissions need to be turned on? It looked like they were off by default. I tried both ways and still didn't see the ads.

CarlWohlforth

No, no errors on install.

TheListener

Have the permissions been set?

Make sure the box for admins to NOT see ads has not been ticked.

CarlWohlforth

Right. I did not check that box. I also logged in as a different user. I have more than one account. :)

Yahmez

In a custom theme you have to manually install the code...

CarlWohlforth

OK, I do have a custom theme, I'll look into manually installing the code tomorrow. No install errors today and one or two positions worked though the others didn't. Anyway I'm checking out for the night.

Thanks so much for the quick replies so far. I do appreciate that.

I am using sfm 1.1.10 and I have been using this mod and it works very well. However. I visited my site and noted all my text was aligned center. Someone here in this forum had suggestion this might be a Google adsense issue. I went back to my site and saw all my ads were gone and I no longer can access my ad management utility panel. How can I fix this problem.
Thank you very much for the mod-it is very nice. I just think I have a Bug of some sort. Thank you

Which ads did you use, some ad providers ads will not show for at least 15-30 minutes after setting up the ad, you should just test the ad management with some standard text instead of an ad.

put this code instead of the code given by the ad provider to test the mod.
<center>THIS IS A TEST TO SEE IF THE AD MANAGEMENT MOD IS WORKING</center>

if this works, either wait a little more time for the ad to become active or consult the ad provider, if not, of course post back here for further support.
