I use google ads only.

Yes, I can see the space it takes up like where it should be; but it does not show up. I only use google ads.

That could be the problem google may not like the content on the site/page or google blocked the domain.

I will check with google. I had previously checked and the ads themselves are still active. My account is still in good standing. Usually if something like that does happen, I will get a notice or something similar. I will check back and let you know.

I'm just curious, but has anybody gotten this to properly work with the "Core" theme in 2.0.x? Before anybody says to "uninstall" the Core theme, we are currently using a color mod of that theme for our forums, but it isn't heavily modified from the original and just has minor tweaks to it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Yes there are a couple who have gotten it to work just requires manual edits to the core theme to work correctly.

you need to a) calm down and b) try it... most mods will have no appreciable difference between 2.0.0 and 2.0.3

Although I know the changes are probably minimal at best, I just worry about uninstalling everything and reinstalling again only to find out one mod breaks everything.

I probably also should check what changed in SSI.php to be sure nothing breaks my forum. D:

why do you need to uninstall anything? The 2.0.3 update patch installs just like any other mod!

I updated 5 sites in under 10 mins

File changes can affect mods which install into sections of code that get edited by the package. Although these small updates don't affect most mods, I've seen it happen many times in the past. In cases like this on live forums, it's better safe than sorry.

as I said... I updated 5 forums - all of them with mods, some with ALOT of mods - and had no issues at all, using the package patch.

this specific one? no, I don't think so. I disagree with the excessive links that it adds.... however, take a backup and then try the installation yourself rather than leaving your forum in an outdated version.

I can put ads anywhere the ad mod allows you to with any probs, EXCEPT the welcome user area

I tick that box same as any other, but no ad appears there. I assume the welcome area is around the search box area? Or the general upper right side on the page? Like on this smf page theres an Online Manual ad (image) which is what i assume is the welcome user area.

ok im using the top menu mod, which shouldnt have anything to do with it i would think AND i have a banner ad on the index page which is right under the menu bar. I havent played around with it yet, but if a large banner (72 px tall X 700px wide) under the menu bar, will an ad not appear in the welcome area?
