SMF WebMail Mod

Hello everyone,

I posted this message in the wrong forum by accident, and it did not get any replies, so hopefully it will be more popular here. I have been using SMF for my community for almost a year now. I've been looking for a WebMail mod for it and I have found none available (for free at least). What I am wanting to do is to create something like SquirrelMail, Neomail, etc. that integrates seamlessly into SMF and release it as a mod. I am fairly good with PHP - I have created a few mods for my own forum such as a program authentication system, and I have created numerous websites. However, this mod would require a lot of work, so I was wondering if anyone would like to join me in creating it. I am not asking because I am not capable of creating it myself, it is just that this would require a lot of my time. Feel free to contact me via PM, MSN or by replying here.
