For that you need to install the mod TinyPortal - which NeptuneTP theme is made for. They are not present in regular SMF themes...

so...this neptune works perfectly fine for TP? I'm asking cause I've just downloaded TinyPortal but I had some issues to have it running (I've got 1.0.8 and spanish as the default language)
Don't worry about my problems with it, I'll try to find solutions later....but I want ot know if my neptune will work with it

Yes..but not the Neptune you have. You need the TP version of it. Its not much different, only a changed index.template and more images.

Hi.  I tried to install the TP i downloaded from the link you gave but i got the message that it is not a valid package or it has become corrupted.

You can't install a theme through package manager - only through "upload new theme" in "themes and layout".

I just downloaded the 1.1rc3 version for this but it seems a bit funky. When I'm logged in, I can't see the info under my avatar/user image (pm's, read new posts since you last visited). What could be wrong? Did I mess something up?

I have a question--- I actually would like to have a memberlist for this theme... is there a memberlist template file that I can download from somewhere?

It just use the one from deafult - its active, just no button in the menu for it(old style theme when "members" link was in Info center). But you can easily add the button if you like by adding back the code into index.template.php.

Find this line:

I'm trying to add Google adsense after 1st posts in Neptune using this :

But I there does not appear to be a "display.template.php" file with this theme.

I have changed the display.template.php within the default theme but it makes no difference in Neptune.

Can anyone help please ?

Whenever some template seems to be mssing in a theme, its because it hasn't changed it for itself - so it falls back on default theme.

This mod require also index.template and BoardIndex.template to be changed it seems - you need to change those too in Neptune.

seems like the Neptune has been posted in for some time now. I seem to be having problems with the database and wonder if it is theme related.

I am running SMF 1.1.4 and keep getting this message sent to me

There has been a problem with the database!

This is a notice email to let you know that SMF could not connect to the database, contact your host if this continues.

could it be because Neptune is not suitable for this version. As it stopped at 1.1 final ?
