Login Forever
« on: March 18, 2004, 01:59:05 AM »
Upgraded from Yabbse and when I go to the board, such as now, and the last time I visited was last night, about 8 hours ago, I have to login.
I've always signed in with "Forever" set and this used to work with Yabbse.
What am I missing?
TIA

It might be that your time offset is wrong.  Actually, it's not forever; it's just a year.  Sometimes clocks can be off by a whole year and this plum won't work.

Is that the global offset or the user offset?
Ive got user set at 5 on SMF forum with no problems, but on my forum I've got the global set to 5 and my user profile to 0.

TIA

Oops, I typed "time offset" and meant "server time."  Does the date and time displayed by your forum match with the date and time on your computer?

Both show exactly the same time - any other ideas?
TIA
