ok, i tried but the code dont work for me...sad 
i  placed the hide [hide]text[/hide]tag but the link stay on for all. and, i want to preserve the link ...for guest and users...they have to answer for see the link..this the point of the hide link.

lol, u wrong. the hide tag is for all members...just answer for see th hide text or link...go to a phpbb or vbulletin board for test please.

Click the link in the first post... thats the hack I made, I didn't make one for hiding like that.

well, not a bad idea...i used the mod spoiler..ok, working perfect, but i need a button in edit message function, because the user will not think to writte himself the code manually...and its available for all tag addon..

Actually, it could have been done in a much better fashion even in YaBB SE.  That's just poor coding, I'm afraid.

You'll want to look for where it loads the member data, (loadMemberData) in Display.php.  Stick that array of ID_MEMBERs into the context somewhere, and you'll be able to check if the current member's id is in that list.

sure you are not one idiot, im another one that want so much thi s hack, was one of more useful hack for my forum and i wait so much to see it working thx again.

sure the purpouse of this hack is to hide text inside TAG hide to all members and not ANSWER in post and only members that answer in post can see the text inside hack

Kirby, some tips:

• Put the new txt strings in the file Modifications.english.php.
• The new global variables add them in a new line, don't replace the existing one, it may be needed as it is for another mod.
• That query you make in preparsecode, change that code so it won't be done every function call! This may help you.

Thx kirby was one my mistake not problem with moderator and global moderator all ok super mod.

one problem is only that QUOTING post ( if i quote post i see the hide text inside HIDE TAG
