Strange browser freezes here?

Dunno if it's just me or what, but this thread has just locked up Mozilla Firefox several times in a row:

But I can view it in IE...

Although I was having a problem earllier with external links from threads here locking up IE!

Suppose it could be my computer (restored IE from a backup and rebooted it from a cold start this afternoon just in case), but wondering whether anyone else has had *any* similar problems here?

This is a known problem in Firefox/Mozilla. Search the forum here, there are 100 topics about it.

Yeah it has already been discussed it is a bug in Firefox/Mozilla. It was fixed in the latest cvs copy. So either update to the latest CVS copies... or wait for 0.9(Firefox)... can't remember what version Mozilla is at.

So perhaps I'd should have searched for that in the first place, but experiencing SMF problems in IE as well today rather clouded my thinking there...

And a search for 'Mozilla Firefox' is currently bringing up 21 results for me with a solitary topic in English that looks immediately relevant:
