ssi_recentTopics problem

I'm trying to make a function that shows the latest 200 posts.  I have this adapted from ssi_recentTopics with $num_recent = 200, but it doesn't show 200.  It used to show 60 or so and now its showing even fewer.  Any ideas?  I'm using 1.1 RC2.

I think I figured this out.  I'm a php novice, but I just looked through the function for numbers.  I found this line:

WHERE t.ID_LAST_MSG >= " . ($modSettings['maxMsgID'] - 35 * min($num_recent, 5)) . "

I think that means that it's looking at the most recent message and then counting backwards by 35*5.  That's 175 *messages*, which isn't enough to cover my request for the most recent 200 *topics* (especially if people are posting frequently in the same topic). 

I raised the 35 number to 500 and it works.  That's quite a jump so I hope nothing gets messed up.
