Help modifying the login bridge theme for SMF

Hello,
I have SMF1.1 RC2 + Joomla 1.0.9 installed.
I have installed the bridge and the SMF login module.

Now I want to change the font size on the SMF login module because the fonts size is very big on it.

I have tried modifying the SMF theme  CSS code and with no results.

I want to make the font size AND the text-boxes look much smaller so I can hook it under the main menu instead of the separate page (like now).

Ooof, well if anyone read this far thank you very much.
