PB with mail sent

Hi,

I'm french...so excuse my english.

Excuse-me too for this message (I know that i should post it in French Forum but I need an answer quicly...).

I 've installed SMF with french translation, all seems ok except the mail sent to members (when registered, when a member send a message to another...) : The french special letter like "à" , "é", "Ô", etc.. appear in the body of the mail (sometimes also in the subject) with their HTTP code :

Example : instead of "à"  "à"  it's written.

Can you help me ?

Letters for strings in email should not be using entities...
