Open the files in an editor that allows you to force ISO 8859-1 encoding. I couldn't see them until I did that.

mmm, i am useing Notepad++

click FORMAT ... convert to ANSI ... save document again 

Thanks to Tiribulus, islam2hamy and blanix for the noob friendly explanation. I followed the suggestions above and it worked a charm. I was getting those three BOM characters at the upper left of my profile page and couldn't work out how to get rid of them. Between you all you really helped me stop tearing my hair out.

No it's not, but there is a huge demand for Armenian, both from diasporan Armenians (in Lebanon, Egypt, USA, Syria, Iran) and the Republic for SMF in Armenian, as my site is in Armenian and English at the moment, I included here some of what I am working on Hope it's of some help to Armenians who might want to use if for their forum

i have 2.0rc1-1 and whenever some one and adminis lging nothing happens it logins simply but when loging out it shows goodbye but why it is not showing welcome message

first of all g8 mod....

bro i wanna ask is it possible that if some member is surfing forum as guest n he's at certain topic .... but when he logins he donot go to main page .... he comes back to the topic itself ...... same thing in logout

so r those features possible ...

yes,
if you surfing the forum after login you will go direct to the topic that you was surfing.
if you logout it will take you to the main page .
