There's nothing wrong with your site, it's there. Legally, it only has to be there, but it doesn't matter if it's that visible.

I guess you are going to eat him because he is completely wrong, the copyright MUST be easily visible. Which, it is not on your site, you must change that immediately.

I don't see that in the copyright info, but please show me if you know where it is.

Ah yes, but it doesn't say it has to be extremely visible. It's there, I can see it, and technically, it doesn't infringe that agreement.

k, guys i asked for the code i must put on the index.css to make it white..

ford1001

don;t worry about it, it says nothing about it having to be completely visible, it only has to be there, and visible

Jakob Fel

Yeah, it can't truthfully be legally enforced unless you breach something in their agreements.

okay then, i think it's fine. if not, please somone post the thing to make it white, thanks everyone.

Jakob Fel

Don't worry, generally, the SMF team won't sue you for the first offense, even if this was infringing their license, especially if you corrected it promptly. I think you are fine. :)

mark topic solved if it is all good please,

It would be good to get some clarification on this issue, ive seen sites where the footer background colour is the same as the copyright text colour, effectively hiding the copyright, but the actual copyright code is unchanged

You're not legally allowed to change the copyright what-so-ever, so I would assume it's fine.
