  • Test :)  O:) >:D

Here it works, yet on my forum it simply displays them in plain text.

What can be wrong on my forum?

you're missing the image or the additional smileys have not been added to your list.

Two things spring to mind.

Firstly, you must have enabled customised smileys to set up the first two (since the stock list does not support those two) and it's possible you remove the other two.

Secondly, you may have set that post not to have smileys enabled in the first place... edit the post (not inline edit) and check whether smileys were enabled on that post.

Well, the 2nd thing isn't true. The smileys were enabled. But it also breaks in other posts. When I preview, it already breaks.

Also they post normally when they aren't on lists.

Well since it works here, it's something you've modified in your site, more than that I can't say (since the smileys and bbc parsing is incredibly nasty code to pick through)

Update: the smileys start to break after the spoiler tags.

So, I am going to try to install another spoiler plug-in or re-install it.

Okay, edit.

The smileys break when these tags are used:

[*]

All under this tag, breaks the smileys.

works here, BUT end-list tag not recognized
Are these cases covered by the known bug?

Since I have no idea of what kind of bbcode you posted I can't tell you...
Post the original BBCode inside a [nobbc ] tag.

If the code has not been changed while posting, yes, the fix (the second change) in the message I linked fixes also all these inconsistencies.
