Try these:

Modify the index.template.php file according to the XML of the mod.

Make sure your forum is set to ENGLISH as its main language. Make sure it ISN'T ENGLISH-UTF8.

Attach your index.template.php file. If you can't attach, upload to Sendspace and link back.

I'm trying to add this mod Ad Management mod V 2.3

it ask me FTP details, I insert everything correctly, but nothing goes on,

no error messages, nothing

aussie86

i've installed the mod, i've add my adsense codes and changed the meta tags on the index.template, but my adsense ads are not displaying the correct ads, in line with my forum's content.

For example, its showing php, hosting etc ads, and my site is talkin about movies

Any suggestions, thanx for helping people :D

Cheers

hi friends

i am using dibermc theme..

when i want to put ad at "Display ads on every page right below the menu"

i am getting like this

whats the problem please help friends...

thanks in advance..

!Hachi!

mostly mods will work fine on default theme.where you get precise positioning.all themes are different with different look and templates means you might get little bit difference i am afraid you have to edit your template manually.

Use the mod parser at your own signature and it will tell you exactly what templates you must edit and where

has anyone used this mod with kelo-lt114_v2 theme?

Is there a problem if you use links with & signs in the html code for ads in terms of W3c validation? I am getting entity errors from them. If I try to change them to & the mod is changing them right back.

Thanks

Bigguy

There shouldn't be no; not that I have noticed. What errors are you getting. ???

weightman

This if the first time I have tried to validate it and the site is bridged with mambo and has many mods. So, I have 47 errors, though it was at 76 about 4 hours ago. :) If you have time to take a look, its appreciated. This is an example of one of the errors I thought might be caused by an ad, from the forum: http://weightliftingexchange.com/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=39:

Quote# Warning Line 262, Column 133: cannot generate system identifier for general entity "Itemid".

...nge.com/index.php?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=113" ><img

An entity reference was found in the document, but there is no reference by that name defined. Often this is caused by misspelling the reference name, unencoded ampersands, or by leaving off the trailing semicolon (;). The most common cause of this error is unencoded ampersands in URLs as described by the WDG in "Ampersands in URLs".

Entity references start with an ampersand (&) and end with a semicolon (;). If you want to use a literal ampersand in your document you must encode it as "&" (even inside URLs!). Be careful to end entity references with a semicolon or your entity reference may get interpreted in connection with the following text. Also keep in mind that named entity references are case-sensitive; &Aelig; and æ are different characters.

If this error appears in some markup generated by PHP's session handling code, this article has explanations and solutions to your problem.

Note that in most documents, errors related to entity references will trigger up to 5 separate messages from the Validator. Usually these will all disappear when the original problem is fixed.
# Error Line 262, Column 133: general entity "Itemid" not defined and no default entity.

...nge.com/index.php?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=113" ><img

This is usually a cascading error caused by a an undefined entity reference or use of an unencoded ampersand (&) in an URL or body text. See the previous message for further details.

Bigguy

I think this is the part that is causing the error not the ad mod:

&Itemid
