I like dark themes, keep them black backgrounds  :)

Can I get a Gallery button for that theme? I just added it to a friend's board and he's got Coppermine... I put a "Gallery" link there for the time being, but a button would be better.

Find
// This part is the logo and forum name.  You should be able to change this to whatever you want...
echo '
<img src="', $settings['images_url'], '/smflogo.gif" width="1" style="float: right;" alt="" />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, sans-serif; font-size: xx-large;">', $context['forum_name'], '</span>';

Replace
// This part is the logo and forum name.  You should be able to change this to whatever you want...
echo '
<center><img src="', $settings['images_url'], '/IMAGE.GIF" align="center" /></center>';

How do u add new buttons to where it says login, calendar, etc... I would like a new button for the Blue Daze Theme to read "Battles" and make it a link to board 13 on my forum, also I wanted to know if you could make the register icon have the text flash black and white... if this is possible please attach the flashing gif and the battle gif and tell me how to link the new icon correctly between the home & help icons.

Much THankZ...

search:
// Edit Profile... [profile]
if ($context['allow_edit_profile'])
echo '
<a href="', $scripturl, '?action=profile">', ($settings['use_image_buttons'] ? '<img src="' . $settings['images_url'] . '/' . $context['user']['language'] . '/profile.gif" alt="' . $txt[79] . '" border="0" />' : $txt[467]), '</a>', $context['menu_separator'];

add after:
echo '
<a href="URL HERE"><img src="' . $settings['images_url'] . '/' . $context['user']['language'] . '/battles.gif" alt="Battles" border="0" /></a> ', $context['menu_separator'];

images attached :)

I am wondering though... there's a lot of themes on your server that are good. Are you going to release any of those themes on here as well?

Great themes Diplomat, I like them all, however, when using the green theme I have an error on the page in internet explorer.

Line: 1
Char: 1
Error: Object Expected
Code: 0
URL: http://www.ohioglockers.com/index.php

Any idea what's causing this? It does not happen with the blue, burgundy or grey themes.

Thanks,
Nick

Yes, it was there. But I went ahead and tried the copy that you provided and still have error, so that didnt work???

I went ahead and reuploaded all the files manually to overwrite the original ones, hoping that might help incase something was corrupt or missing and still the same problem.

Thanks!

Also, Firefox loads the page fine, so apparently its IE related problem???

To make that I will need to adjust the hue and the saturation. But I can do it. I just think I may be better off just adjusting just the hue so it reflects the colors of the Daze Skin better.

Is this okay?

You may want to post this on the daze skin thread itself - http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=24950.0

Most theme question requests go into the specific theme thread to ensure all users can get details in 1 thread.

Probably that is what you have it set for in the the theme's settings. Or you choose that in your own profile.

To reset everyone to see it with oldest to newest:

Admin -> Theme and Layout Settings -> Daze -> Reset member specific options for all members -> Show most recent posts at the top

Is there any way to add a paypal donate button?
I've tried adding it into the forum news section, but it keeps failing and stretching the the screen after adding it. Needless to say that paypal aborts after clicking on the button link. I'm guessing since it is html it's not compatible with the forum layout code?

It's regular paypal encrypted code.
Starts:
<form action="https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr" method="post">
<input type="hidden" name="cmd" value="_s-xclick">
<input type="image" src="https://www.paypal.com/en_US/i/btn/x-click-but21.gif" border="0" name="submit" alt="Make payments with PayPal - it's fast, free and secure!" width="110" height="23">

I don't get a parse error, just a paypal error. I just placed the button back up, if you can, click on it. I get a: We are sorry that we are experiencing temporary difficulties. Please try again later. Message 5302 error. However, it's the same code I'm using here: http://www.thirdeyeconcept.com/about_tec.htm and that doesn't give me the error messege...

Do you use encrypted value on the other site too?

For the link to button I would recommend just copy it and put it on your own server, since sometimes paypal.com is slow..and thus making your page wait for the image.

Fixed. Paypal apparently uses a lot of breaks when the code is layed out and it affects the way the screen is sized. Had to minimize the breaks and it works.

Installing it now. Its a nice theme.

Can you please remove the thumbs.db from the files?

Would it be possible to have one theme, and to switch between the colours in your preferences? There's only 20 or so images, could they all have a sub directory in the images folder, and then it selects which folder based on your preference?

Also, how to change the calandar today colour?

Do you think you could make a theme thats not all one color? Mabye two colors would be awsome.

If you could, do you think you could make a Plain White, and light blue version?
Like the SMF forums, just the grey would be light blue. Thank you.

Search for "Element". It's one of diplomat's themes, it sounds like it would suit your needs.

Diplomat, i am in the process of creating a color variation of daze, a much lighter version. Where is the color of the main background controlled? I cant seem to find it....

I see no one has posted to this thread since late November!  Hope someone can help me on this.

I am new to the community, and I LOVE the Daze Theme!  Diplomat, is there anyway this could be modified to blend in with these colors... and STILL be so easy to read?  This is the first template I have seen that I love.  I actually saw the one at http://www.titaniumwg.com/forums/index.php?PHPSESSID=6136138deb272b320c34aadd6d55c1fc&action=arcade (http://www.titaniumwg.com/forums/index.php?PHPSESSID=6136138deb272b320c34aadd6d55c1fc&action=arcade).  LOVE the multi-colored lettering too.  The bright red accents are the same colors in my website.  I saw the available colors, and the red is way too dark.  Any chance I could get Daze in a bright color like this graphic?  Thanks soooo much!

i'm in the process of making an *unofficial* grey version of this theme.. greyscaled the layout/colour related graphics.. and just need to make a few changes to the css.. should be finished very very soon..

I'm using the rollover package with my RC2 forum now--I love it.  Almost exactly what I was looking for.  Thanks.

Im sure that dip will eventually get it done for the final, but Im not too sure about 1.1rc2.  I basically had to do it myself to get it to work with my RC2 forum.

The shop and arcade mods are for titaniumWG forum only.  Dip likes to keep his site fresh and unique.
