How Do I get My Forum Up And Running Using Fasthost

Everything that I'm going to tell you is what has already been written in the guides. Maybe you should start by posting what you don't understand. You really need to learn how to do this stuff if you're going to be an admin of a forum.

I've administrated many forums in the past, this is my first time using Simple Machine, can you explain what to do once downloaded?

Didn't give him a link because he asked for no more guides. Anywho, yes upload the forum to where ever your host is. Once you have the files uploaded you'll need to point your browser to the install.php file that you just uploaded. So if you put your files in a folder called forum it would be like this.
http://www.yourdomain.com/forum/install.php

Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the install. Any of the connection information details you'll need to get from your host if you don't know them.

Some other things you may need to know if it says you're files are not writable.

How do I chmod? / what is chmod?

right, dont use fast hosts, use www.awardspace.net they're free, ad free, and im almost certain they'll do the job!

they shud give you ftp details, the smf web upload tool doesnt work with award space, so download the 1.1.2 package > unzippy > uploady

don't worry mate download this http://www.simplemachines.org/download/index.php?thanks;filename=smf_1-1-2_install.zip and upload all of the files to the ftp folder where you wanna install smf

don't worry man we all had to start somwhere,
have you got an account with awardspace.com? are you in the ftp site for your awardspace account yet? if you are go in public_html and upload the contents of the zip file i posted (select all > drag > drop)
