How do I stop registration

Hello everyone

Many thanks for creating this marvellous software. I have a question and I apologise if this has been asked before:

I'd like to stop people from registering although they can be allowed to browse. Is that possible at all?

Admin panel -> Registration (at the bottom) -> Settings -> Method of registration employed for new members -> Registration disabled.
