On My First installation, it worked well,

but on my second installation it does not.

when i enter my sql details and click on proceed it goes to the starting page of installation that is FTP page

Thats because you didnt CHmod probably settings.php

that was my problem i just had because i just installed smf also and had that problem till i CHMOD file
