Stat Error -- Members online

I noticed that in my stats for MOST ONLINE on May 2, 2004, I got 74 members! I don't even have 74 members and have never gone above 23 as the most at one time!  Something is not right!

Well - technically it takes into account members AND guests. So if you had a lot of guests on your board (or - for example - someone from AOL) then it may be articifically high...

Hmmm, okay, I hadn't thought of that before.  Hmmmm, maybe then I need to suggest a feature or option for NOT counting Guests!  I had always looked at that as how many memebrs were online that day!

today i noticed we had 47 user online!

This could not be true

Also i wonder about the 74/47 numbs.

i guess this could be some bug with the calculations.

Google may have crawled your site, just as an example.  Look at the hits!

well i watched the online user and i saw a ip range from ip eg. 222.22.22.1-10 watching all the same page.
Also as u say compared to the stats it could be 47 by google.

Hmm i wonder now if it spossible to filter the stats ?
