Is SEO4SMF compatibile with SMF 1.1.3??

It should work with 1.1.3 as it's just a minor change from 1.1.2. When installing a mod, if Package Manager says that the mod is not compatible with your version of SMF, try adding ;version_emulate=1.1.2 to the end of the Package Manager address in your browser. You should be in Browse Packages (Admin->Packages) while doing this. Hit Apply Mod and it should work.

BEWARE OF THIS MOD!

I had this mod installed in 3 of my forums. Found on July 7th 2007 that the pages did not load, but reverted back to page 1. I contacted "the Godfather" and for a week he blamed it on everything except his code. Then on July 16th, he disappeared, or went on vacation. It is now August 5, 2007 and I uninstalled this mod today. Of course, everything through google went to somewhere else. So I had to 301 redirect all of these links.

Go to Webmaster talks and look at the posts, and you'll see the support is basically non-existent and the mod is always having major problems.  This mod cost me over 2 million page views in the last 2 months.  So beware!

This is a very, much needed mod, but it needs better support and better coding.

It is on your end, because myself and a lot of other people had that problem and we fixed it ourselves without using any code modifications.

I really don't think the mod author needs to offer much support at this point.  The mod hasn't been known to cause any security risks or anything, at most, he'd maybe have to update it to the next version of SMF.

hello i use smf4seo 2.29 smf 113 and mkportal 112 work ok but when integrtae the forum in  portal appear this screen in all topics


when disable the smf4seo work ok



but when use in mkportal the forum skin and select random theme in smf work all ok
can you helpme to fix this error  please . thanks

Mods like this are very temperamental, and there is always a need for support.

In my error log also i found this..The mod didn't got installed...anyone knows how to fix this?

delte the seo4smf_ tables in your bd be carefull and install again the smf4seo maybe not uninnstall the mod when upgrade

There is no such table in my database..as i said the mod.. even didn't got installed!

sure? search in you phpmyadmin for  seo4smf in the smf database

It are values in the smf_settings table (prefix with seo4smf).

Hope I get some answer here. All SEO4SMF topics are shut on Turkish Support here and no replies I get on webmasterstalks

I have a forum based on 1.1.3 (UTF-8) and SEO4SMF 0.2.9.9

The problem I am having is when topic is created that has dotted capital I ( İ -  It is a Turkish character - &#304 )

When you go to such a topic everything seems to work fine but when it comes to page links things get wierd.

I also realised that such UTF characters does not take place in Subs-Seo4SMF.php (I believe all of the translations are done here)

Do you think if I put those translations the problem can be solved. If yes is Subs-Seo4SMF.php the only where I have to put ?
