hi there, first of all: I would like to thanks all of your efforts in making smf.
We would like to use your forum with our site, and with the help of the smf_api, we've done it.
We integrated the forum using iframe, but the footer on the forum ruins the design of the site (we have our own footer below the forum iframe), and I would like to do this with javascript:
If the forum accessed via iframe: move the forum's copyright element into our sites own footer(through parent.document).
Am I allowed to do this?

You are allowed to move it. It must be visible, and it must contains these words:

Powered by SMF 1.1.4 | SMF © 2006-2007, Simple Machines LLC 

And they must link to the proper pages. The only thing that is allowed to be changed is the version number.
Easy way to do that is in the index.php page.
