Ban Triggers

I have set some 'ban triggers' to block certain IP addresses

Sometimes it seems that those addresses are still looking in forums

If I see an unwanted 'guest' is there a way to 'kick' them off my forum

*kinda like the  /kill function on chat programs

What other methods might stop a lurker you dont want around

The ban trigger in SMF will only stop them at the forum level. If you want them to not access your domain at all you'll need to add the DENY to your .htaccess file on you host.

Try a Google search for how to configure your .htaccess if you are unsure.
