but how do i turn off the user validation.. i keep getting

as when you register from register.php it send them a email with their password..

when you say register them from admin.. do you mean the adminCP?? i cant see a way to add members in the cp.. no link

Yes the forum admin control panel. It is under the Members, Registration section.

Admin > Registration > Register New Member.
Make sure email new user password is checked.

You need to register the new members on that screen. You just fill in the details in click Register. It should send them an email with the password.

I usually stress that so users will know about this themselves. Each user who started their own topic should mark their own topic as solved if the issue is resolved

Hi,. I would like to reopen this...

I would like to turn this feature off while I am testing account sign up. I just installed reCaptcha due to the new spam getting around the default one, but I cant test it, it keeps giving me this message. So I need to turn this feature off to allow me to test registration from the front end a few times. Closing and re-opening the browser is not working.
