SMF 2 - Custom Profile Field Length

The length of the text box should be increased so you can see the text being entered. My thought is the size should be proportional to the "Maximum Length" defined for the field, with a max limit of course.

This sounds like a feature request, I have brought it to the attention of the developers and see if they want to add this simple feature request.
Though this could be changed easily in the template.

More of a bug as the text box is shorter than any field on that page. Even the aim field is longer.

I know I can easily adjust it but not everyone can. It just seems to me it shold be longer by default.

A developer is implanting the idea. I have not looked at our latest SVN to see how. But I assume they are either going off the max input or coding a way to change the text box size.
