I was wondering if it is possible to add my own Wikipedia on my forum so i can put guides on it..

Is this possible?

there are several WIKI products.

I think someone made a bridge between SMF and media-wiki.

Personally, I like docuwiki better, because it is a file-based system, not a database one. (makes for easier extractions, etc. IMO)

I recommend DokuWiki too, it's nice and simple to use, and powerful too! Sort of like SMF in that way ;)

I am the one who made the MediaWiki and SMF bridge. What I like about the bridge is it only requires one file to link the two applications. This makes life easy when upgrading down the road. I actually use this on my site, which is in my signature.

I personally haven't used DokuWiki. It looks nice and simple, but I have been accustomed to MediaWiki's interface and functionality. I also like the fact that it stores the data in a database. For me this makes it easier to reuse the data in other applications.

If interested you can download the extension here

MediaWiki actually isn't that hard to setup. You upload the MediaWiki files and walk through the wizard. Once you have MediaWiki up and running you copy the bridge file over to the extensions folder. From there you just need to configure the patch to your SMF forum and it should work.

Upload what files? and where?  copy the bridge file over to the extensions folder? Bridge file over to the extensions folder? where? what folder? where is this folder located? what is a bridge folder

From there you just need to configure the patch to your SMF forum and it should work

and i do that how?

You would need to go to the MediaWiki site and following their instructions. Its basically the same as installing SMF. Once you put the files on your web host it has a web installation wizard.

The directions for my bridge are on the link I gave you above.

for someone who is using the name "expert", you really missed the boat on appropriate names, didn't you?

Look:
Asking for help is fine.
Demanding help is not.
Screaming that everything is an emergency (i.e. posting in all caps) is inappropriate.
When you ask for help and get an explanation "whining" that the explanation doesn't make sense to you is childish.

If you plan to admin a website... especially a website with a forum, then you are going to have to acquire some technical knowledge...   or find someone willing to do all your work for you. (in which case, you should be posting on the "help wanted" board, not in the support board)

Wow... ok, so you can actually set up a wiki on your website with a program that loads like a smforum?

I am so far behind... I was going to program a lexicon in html...
